Women: Summer fashion 2013
Fashion has new colours, like bright blues, oranges, yellows,
also combined together; polish finishing, lame, pastel co-
lours, sweet and romantic shades. Skirts, often pleated, are
very long. Trousers are large, up to the knee or straight and
tight under clinging jackets.
Jackets have frills on waist and straight shoulders. Knitwear
is the prevailing material, cotton is woven with silk wires. Ac-
cessories have bright colours, never used before, that give
joy and hope. An ever green vintage that is a recollection of
the 50ies, revisiting ideas and materials. Silk, satin, chiffon
with small and large flowers, Bahaus geo designs, here and
there sprinkled hand painted spray of flowers. Skirts are lon-
ger, heels are shorter without giving up to laces, tulle, em-
broideries, knitwear, slits, pleats, overlay, swarovsky crystal
accents, spangles and transparent look. A lot of white, a little
of black, a look that is never sad, but cheered up by bright
details: crystals, silver and beads.
“HERMES” presented in Milan the elegant 8 ties, a part of
the collection heavy-Twill-di-seta-8 cm”, designed by the
Mexican designer Michel Chevalier, living in Paris.
“LAURA BIAGIOTTI” has deep colours, with Oriental shades
like yellow, oranges and hypnotic prints, as well as stripes,
accents with colourful borders and black, also on edges; li-
berty style with romantic roses, broderie-anglaise, embroide-
ries and scallop-edgings.
“BRUNELLO CUCINELLI” has neutral shades up to brown,
copper, playing also with different materials. A simple but
elegant look, that always expresses the personality.
“ICEBERG” revisited their branded knitwear with new lines
and colours. Relaxing and charming shades, a bit rock but
always elegant.
Classic trench-coats, clinging blouses, sensual and classic
lines revisited for modern time.
“John Richmond” revisited the 50ies, adopting a rock look
with a romantic taste, with tattoo prints, specially dragons
and tribal designs.
“ERMANNO SCERVINO” presented cut out leather, with
geo designs, fringes, cut out flowers with a special brown
shade. Total white enriched by embroideries, geo designs
and flowers that give freshness, the antique taste of knotted-
work.
“COLOMBO” presented Kate, a jacket made of cachemire,
that combines elegance and softness, clinging on the body
like a second skin layer.
There is a romantic and pleasant taste on the “BLU-
MARINE” collection that combines elegance and happi-ness:
there are soft lines and shades, a liberty style with prints, cut
out and pleated look. The collection wants to express co-
lours and brightness.
“MARIA-GRAZIA-SEVERI” is a family business, with a femi-
nine and elegant look shown in the new show-room in Milan,
Via Monte Napoleone.
